Cassie Pendall goes scuba diving, with others, as a first date. While out at sea, the divers run into a freak storm, and discover the lost city of Atlantis. What the Legends of Atlantis never explained, though, is that the city is actually a space ship, and a community of aliens. After a terrible natural cataclysm, the survivors of Atlantis all went into statis, and sent out a distress beacon to thier home world of Andromeda, and the Atlanteans have awakened. And now, Andromeda has sent help... Typical O'Connor, culture clashes / misunderstanding between races, romance, conflict. Good story.
