I think her pen name is L.A. Banks? anyone read it? I love Lori's work and am wondering how her step into the paranormal went.

i don't know much about Lori Foster or anything about a vampire book from her, but L.A. Banks is a pen name of Leslie Esdaile and definitely a different person.

Fantastic Fiction's pages for each of them: http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/f/lori-foster/  http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/b/l-a-banks/

I think Lori Foster writes her paranormals under the name L. L. Foster

"Series, you ask? Yes! SERVANT will feature a reoccurring female character that grows and evolves throughout several books. My first, SERVANT: THE AWAKENING, will be available in October. I'm excited, and equally hopeful that you enjoy my efforts."

THIS IS A CLIP FROM THE LL FOSTER WEB PAGE @ LLFOSTER.COM SETTING UP HER NEW SERIES.

**I just checked out her books here on PBS.  Her first book "Servant:  The Awakening" is available (with mixed reviews) and her second "Servant:  Acceptance" is on WL.**

I have been wanting to read this series as well.  I have Servant : The Awakening sitting on my TBR pile...just haven't gotten to it yet.  Found it on one of my hunts at the UBS..hit the jackpot that day, lol.

I'm Curious what other Lori Foster fans thought of it. I know I love Sherrilyn Kenyons Dark-Hunters, but I don't care for her B.A.D. series.

I enjoy Lori Foster's romances and really enjoyed Servant - can't wait for the next in the series.  It has been a while since I read it, but do remember feeling that the story wasn't over and really wished I could go right into the next book.

I love Lori's other books but didn't much care for  Servant:  The Awakening. Maybe it was just my mood at the time though.

I am reading Servant now.  It took me a while to get into it, I think about a third of the way it finally clicked and I am enjoying it.  I get the feeling the first book is setting up the background and main characters for the "true" adventures in future books.

I WANTED IT TO BE A ROMANCE, BUT IT KIND OF LEAVES YOU HANGING.  I REALLY ENJOY HER OTHER BOOKS.  I DIDN'T THINK THAT I WOULD LIKE THE AWAKINING, BUT I DID.  I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!
