A fine book on a dimly understood subject namely the history of the African continent outside of Eqypt and the colonialism of Europe. Well presented with what little is known of the early history of the continent. The Archeology of the continent is truly under developed and except for efforts by Chinese and Islamic writers nothing would be known. The Europeans where traders with only a thirst for gold, ivory and slaves and barely literate themselves.
Well worth a read though to extract what you can and to learn that Africans were no more barberous than the white guys. ( I'm white)
