This was a real good story about a divorced & happily remarried mother of three, who runs a bookstore in Napa, Ca. All the things she goes through with her children, tale of family breaking apart & coming back together. Very explicit sex, readers opinion only!

Miller's familial story is illuminating, tender and the pressure and pleasure to finish it in a hurry was all my own. Just like 'real-life' families it seems normal at first glance but if you dig a little there are dark, haunting corners. One such corner belongs to Daisy. Miller's ability to present the thoughts, actions and feelings of an adolescent girl are fascinating. Reading this story was like being on a roller-coastr ride -- there are twists, drops, hills and curves that will surprise you, even shock you.

I wasn't sure whether I liked this book or not until I had finished it. Obviously, it wasn't "bad" or I would have stopped reading, I just wasn't sure where it was headed or how I felt about it (which in some ways was a bonus because it wasn't predictable). In the end, I really enjoyed it!
