This was a facinating story which I could not put down. I had no idea there were terms for how "black" you were. It was just a really faciating history.

A very interesting easy read. It is amazing how people have changed their moral and cultural values since the time of slavery. I enjoyed the book very much.

Fascinating. Could not put it down. A totally engaging mystery and so unbelievable that no one would ever believe it had it been written as a work of fiction.
