Okay :) Question. I had a book that I had sent go "lost in the mail" last night. I had used PBS DC, so I had gotten the credit when I had marked it mailed. However, last night when it was finally marked as "lost" I didn't have any credits, so I'm assuming PBS didn't send the credit back the person who had ordered the book. I bought a few credits this morning, so how do I go about getting the person their credit back or did PBS actually give them one and I now owe PBS one?
Thanks! |

Nicole, You do nothing. Because you used PSB-Postage you have "credit insurance". PBS covered the credit that was returned to the requester. |

Mary, Thank you! Oh well, I guess I didn't need to buy credits. I just wanted to make sure the requestor got her credit back. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know! I think this is the first book I've ever had go lost so I wasn't sure.
Have a great day! |

Even if you hadn't used quick credit you would not refund the credit to the requestor. you just wouldn't have gotten a credit for hte book. PBS would have held the credit in escrow until the book was marked received or went lost. |

And I just want to applaud you being so concerned and responsible that you bought credits so that you wouldn't let anybody down. I love having people like you, Nicole, as a fellow member here at PBS. We hear so much about the people who send out unpostable books, and get nasty when called on it, that it is refreshing to read about someone "stepping up"! Here, here! |
