A few weeks ago, a terrific sender sent me 10 books off of my WL, but that package went lost in the mail.  Luckliy, she had PBS DC, so she got her credits back and I got mine back too.  My question is - if that package does eventually show up, and I mark the books received, then will PBS take back the 10 refunded credits?

Because, lets be honest, I've already tapped into that stash!! devil

Will my account go negative?  Just wondering in case.

Kelly, that is exactly what would happen. You would mark them received in your transaction archive and your account balance would be negative. How to avoid that? Do you have any books on your TBR list that are wishlisted? Read those and post them so you could be assured of some credits coming in...or look at the Top 50 list for most requested and see if you can find any wishlisted books at thrift stores or UBS. Just ideas...

I would keep an eye on the DC scan just to see if it's still showing activity.  If it just got put on a truck in the wrong direction, you could still get the box.  Even if you keep them unheld on your WL and get some again that way-if the box shows up you owe the credits even on any that you ended up with 2 copies.  The only way you couldn't owe credits is if she didn't actually mail them until 1 week (?) before they were due to go lost and didn't clear it with you.

well, I'm pretty sure I'll never see the books, as they only scanned one time, when it was recieved.  There was no activity after that at all.  What I'll probably do is just purchase the credits if I have to, before I mark it received.  I'd be thrilled if they showed up!

For a while, my WL was jacked at 210!
