Sorry if this question has been asked before (I'm sure it has, lol)...but today I was printing off wrappers. I had two ready to go then something happened to Adobe Acrobat to make it quit working before I could print. I lost the postage for those two books! Is there any way to get it back or is this just a costly lesson learned?

You can reprint the wrapper via your account page.  If the payment went through properly the first time, you're fine.  It won't charge you twice.

When you go into the Reprint Wrapper you should see this message in a pink box:

You have previously purchased Postage and Quick Credit for this request. You will NOT be charged again for this request.

If you don't see that, check you money registry to see if the postage was in fact deducted from your account. If it was deducted, but the wrapper re-print isn't indicating that you've already paid for it, send in Feedback using the Contact Us and ask them to look at the transactions.

I am not sure, but can you save the Acrobat file before you attempt to print it?  I can save because I have a full version of Acrobat Professional on my computer.  If you can't save the Acrobat file created by the system, download a file called PDF995 and install it on your computer.  This allows you to "print" any document into a PDF document and it also allows you to save the file.

I save all my acrobat documents into a folder I have called PBS Documents.  When I go to print postage I create through PayPal, I "print" it first as a PDF and save it.  That way if need be, I can reprint it.

Can you do the manual open?  I always hit cancel when Adobe wants to open it and then I hit the Open Manually link.  I don't bother saving the labels to Adobe.  I don't mark books mailed until I mail them so if I need to reprint I can.  I've never felt the need to save them.

Welcome to PBS Tracey!

IIRC PBS labels can be reprinted for two weeks after the original, for no additional charge.

From your Main Account page, look partway down the window and find the tab for 'Books to Mail'.  The reprint option should be available from there.

...and?...did it work?
