I love MHC, having met her at a luncheon, she is truly a classy lady and very down to earth. However, I think that perhaps her writing days are over. Her books are becoming very predictible and not as good as her older stories. If you want a very easy read, you may enjoy this, and I buy her books because I like her, but sadly I cant really recommend her anymore.

Typical MHC book-not bad, but I thought it dragged a little at the end.

This book was a fast read. As always IMO the author starts off with too many characters to keep track of. But overall the story moved quickly.

I borrowed this book from the Library and I am happy that I did. The premise is an interesting twist that leads to a satisfying who-done-it. The story moves a long at a fast pace, with engaging characters. The book is typical Mary Higgins Clark. If you are a fan of hers you will enjoy the book.

Great read. thoroughly enjoyed it. Good characters. GREAT and INTERESTING plot. All the 'players' are introduced up front and you've got to figure out "who dun it". More than that will give it away. One of Clark's better efforts.

I enjoyed this book. It was reminiscent of "The DaVinci Code". Alvirah & Willy are back in this one and I love them but this is not a typical MHC book. If that's what you're looking for then this is not the book for you.

Sadly, this is not one of Mary Higgins Clark's best efforts. The plot is formulaic, and the story line very predictable. While I liked the prologue about the disappearance in 1474 of the Joseph of Arimathea letter purportedly written by Christ before he died, it had little to do with the modern story line of its reappearance in modern times found by a biblical scholar. The many suspects, who were not very distinguishable or interesting, and the usual red herrings and coincidences, did little to hold the reader's interest. I truly could not wait to finish the book, just to be able to pick up something else to read that would be more interesting. A weak effort by a beloved author.
