This is book #1 in the Love Comes Softly series. This is an awesome series for which Janette Oke has won numerous awards. Stays strong throught, to the very last book!

If you enjoy a romance novel for the romance itself, love slowly being discovered, then this is the book to read. There are no love scenes, but rather a simple, basic love story that touches your heart. I really enjoyed this book and hope to read the other volumes.
