1st book of the Stevens brothers with James Stevens. 2nd book is Total Surrender with Michael Stevens. You can read the books alone but it will really help if you read Love Lessons first because it really sets the tone for the next book.

May have a problem liking James in the beginning because he is a "disloyal" hero to start with.

I'd say this book is just OK. The premise of the book, finding out about all the mysteries of sex with a man so she could instruct her little sister, just didn't fly. I skipped through pages because there was a lot of explicit sex. I don't consider myself a prude; however, it is graphic. I'd go so far as to say, soft-core porn. Perhaps this is the reason the book is titled, "Love Lessons."

Abigail Weston, sure at 25 that she'll never find love, focuses all her efforts on finding her younger sister a husband. But, inexperienced in pleasures of the flesh, she can't properly answer her sister's endless questions. So she seeks answers from a man of ill repute. James Stevens, bastard son of an aristocrat, is shocked that Abigail, rather than throwing herself at him, just wants verbal explantions of carnal lust. And he's amazed at the desire her innocence and beauty awaken in him. For the first time, his heart is responding to a woman in ways he'd never imagined.

Summary from the inside and back flaps of the book.
