I just had to get that out! Plastic wrap.... secure plastic bubble mailers.... taped up plastic bags.... I love it all!

I wish all books the best when traveling this winter, rainy, snowy season.

Ditto on the plastic wrapped books! Even here in GA, where we are in the worst drought in years, I love to get a book wrapped in plastic. Means "I care" to me. All my books go out in plastic. Kroger (grocery store) sells a box of bags that remind me of the ones you put produce in at the store. They are called Food & Bread Storage Bags, gallon size. 75 bags for $1.19. Best bargain ever!! I use them for books that I mail and for lots of other things too. They are thin so they dont add any weight, so no extra postage costs.

I always laugh when plastic comes up.       I live in the driest place ever - south San Diego country - we had ONE count them ONE rainy day from  April until this week.        What happened that ONE rainy day??  I got 4 books from one person and they were ruined by that rain.        So I say - no plastic isn't required but it sure is a marvelous, wonderful BONUS!!!!!!!!

I've been lucky.  We've had sporadic torrential rain here in N. Texas.  One rainy day I had 3 books delivered, and water blew into the box when the postman opened it.  The only one with a wet wrapper was the plastic wrapped one!
