This book was laugh-out-loud funny for me. Gabrielle and Joe were both a little outrageous and their interplay was humorous...more funny were the family scenes. I also loved Joe's bird...its antics made me laugh more than once throughout the book.

I've enjoyed all of Rachel Gibson's books and this one was no exception. It was a light, quick read. Good when you are in need a a lighthearted laugh.

~Meh~. Pretty average chicklit. The setting in Boise made it interesting enough for me to finish, but there's not much else going for it.

This was a fun book by Gibson. Of course you have to suspense quite a bit of belief in our justice system in the beginning. But I kind of knew it would be a nice, wacky story when Joe has a stand off with a goose. The family and bird scenes are funny, especially Joe's family. Unsure why Gibson made the bad guy so unrepentant. It might have been better if he wasn't so crazy and was just materialistic. The characters are likable enough and I totally agree that painting hands and feet are the pits.
