A frustratingly thick-headed man thinks that he can never be loved, evidence to the contrary. A beautiful setting is occasionally so well described that I almost felt as though as was there.

This book is Carlson Raven and Janna Moran. You meet Angel and Hawk in this book. Their book is "Woman Without Lies" SIM #81

I love this story. I like the wordplay between Raven and Janna and I love the scenery picture Lowell creates. It is one of my favorites of hers.

Quick read. Great story set in the Pacific Northwest. You can almost feel the sand under your feet and the mist in your hair!

One of Lowells earlier books. Easy to read, not very involved.

Book Description
A storm brought them together
Without warning, a ferocious storm in the Queen Charlotte Islands plunged Janna Morgan into the frigid sea. But before she could sink into the depths of the choppy waters, an arm reached out through the darkness, pulling Janna to safety.

Her savior was Carlson Raven, and he was as untamed and enigmatic as the sea he loved. Stranded together in a deserted paradise, Raven was instantly aware of his intense yearning for the courageous woman he'd rescued. And he was powerless to resist her beauty. But could Raven really believe that the look in Janna's eyes was love, and not merely gratitude?

Wonderful romance, including a rescue in a storm, a man who thought he wasn't worthy of love. The lady he rescued had other plans for this deep, dark and moody man and sets about to prove her love for him.
