I'm disappointed in this book and I'm only 20 or so pages in. I thought it would pick where Book of Shadows stops. However, it starts while the author is in college and hasn't joined her coven yet. It reads like a teen romance novel to me. Please note I do not read romance novels nor am I a teen. But I imagine this book would appeal to those readers.

I must admit that the writing is good. However, I can only keep reading it if I pretend it's fiction and has nothing to do with Wicca or the Book of Shadows book. Then it's just yet another romance novel with a little bit of the Goddess thrown in. I had to flip to the middle part of the book to see if it gets any better. Spiritual awakening? I'm not sure. But I doubt I'll finish it.

Book of Shadows I couldn't put down. This I had to force myself to read. It's like the woman in Book of Shadows is completely different than the one in Love Spell.

I enjoyed this book. I've read "Witch Crafting" and "Book of Shadows" by this author. It was an erotic non-fiction book but I didn't get that impression. It was much better than Chick Lit!
