As Feb. approaches I was wondering  what books have the best love stories?

I have my favorites,  Llewelyn and Joanna in Here be Dragons, Jamie and Claire in Outlander, John of Gaunt and Katherine Swynford in Katherine, to name a few what are yours?

Jamie and Claire in Outlander, definitely, hands down, no contest.

Nathaniel & Elizabeth !!! (Wilderness series, Sara Donati)

I heartily endorse the other ones mentioned as well.

Henry and Claire in The Time Traveller's Wife.  I know it's not HF, but it is my all time favorite book.

It doesn't need to be historical fiction, Donna good choice.

How could I have left out Elizabeth and Nathaniel  I loved the fact that they were mature when they fell in love, she was 29 and I figured he was near 35.

I'm also partial to Llewelyn and Joanna.

Gotta agree with that. And Jamie and Claire. And Seton's Katherine.

Ah, yes, Seton's Katherine.  But, no one has mentioned Arthur and Guenevere!

REK  But in which book?   There have been so many and I can't think of one that really made me love them together.  Maybe the whole infidelity issue gets in the way for me.

Eek, I'm excited that I have almost all of these books on my reading list for 2012! Outlander, Katherine, Here Be Dragons, and Into the Wilderness!

Oh, boy, Kelly E ... you are in for some wonderful, sometimes sizzling, sometimes achingly sweet love stories! Enjoy!

And, IMO, they are excellent, well-written books.

What about Ash and Anjuli in The Far Pavilions by M.M. Kaye?  One of my all time favorite couples along with Claire and Jamie (in the first books anyway).
