I found this very informative book to be EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND ENCOURAGING! It concerns exactly what hypoglycemia is doing to your body (and brain!). Some info that's discussed: depression, weight gain, chronic fatigue, narcolepsy, change in personality, dizziness, headaches, relationships to other diseases, doctor-patient relationships, diets for hypoglycemics, Q & A's, noise pollution as a health hazard, & irregularities in normal hearts. Even though I had been diagnosed with hypoglycemia and was given a little information - basically my Dr. told me to phone a hospital and ask for the hypoglemic diet, I didn't know very much about it at all. So I had to educate myself. I learned so much about the diet, was encouraged & reassured that I wasn't a crazy person - there was a medical reason for all the symptoms I was experiencing. I learned how to control them. Oh happy day :) Incidentally a symptom that's not covered in this book is chronic female infections. That's how I discovered I'm hypolycemic.
