About the Authors
Ted and Jean Kaufman are both nationally prominent in the field of gourmet cookery.
Mr. Kaufman is now president of the Gourmet Club of America. As a former foreign correspondent he spent many years in Europe, Asia and Africa. In the course of his travels - cuisine having been his avocation - he assembled a vast and varied collection of rare recipes.
Mrs. Kaufman has been food editor for several newspapers and magazined, and is widely known for her creation of original recipes. She has also lectured on the subject of gourmet foods to leading women's organizations.
