I just can't do it. I read a lot of complex novels, but I can't get through this one. I think I can't find one single character that I find at all appealing. I am only on page 150 of 800 or so. But I have to put it down.

This is a BIG book! Do not let the heft of it discourage you from reading it, though, because the story will take you in and move you along at a rapid pace. At the beginning it is confusing since there are so many characters and connections that crisscross each other over and again. I think of it as a bag with a drawstring top. As each person explains their connection to the others, the opening is slowly pulled closed another notch, until they are all in close proximity together. Great mystery! Excellent! D. :)
