The story was interesting. I was hoping for more chess play, but the book was a good whodunnit.

I loved this book for many reasons. There is an implied thriller in the book and the chess game is a character in the story. It is a great book if you are interested in the impact of history and anything post WW11 with the psychological implications. I have give this book as a present to many of my friends who deal with the psycho social effects of war, Post Traumatic Stress and complications of life.
