Fun historical fiction. ( A little worn, but in good readable condition.)

This is a wonderful series about various women of the Bible. These are great stories that make the lives of these women become very real to the reader. The women have lives and feelings that make the reader identify with the character. I enjoyed these books immensely. They are very readable and lovely stories. I wish Ms. Henderson had written more about other characters of the Bible.

This is a delightful book. The author is conversant with the details of the area and of the time, all of which bring this book to life. The character is brought to life is a plausible manner that kept me turning the pages to see how it was going to unfold.

While the plot is fiction, many of the details of facts taken from the bible that give it move vivacity as well. Even the character of Paul is interwoven in what surely is a Pauline personality manner.

If you want a good novel, have an interest in biblical themes, this may will be one that you will enjoy and start reaching for more of her books. It does not take long to reach, but can add interest and stimulation to much of the time spent reading it.
