I am wondering if anyone here can tell me about her Argeneau Vampires books. I just finished the darkhunter/dream hunter books by sherrilyn kenyon ( or should i say i caught up to the current book as i read somewhere that she plans on doing 4 satges of the series )

Should they be read in order or can they stand alone?

They're definitely more vampire-lite.   I stopped reading them because the first two are the same story retold.  In one, brother B tells about Brother A.  In the second book, Brother A tells his own story (already told).  They all are inter related (and I've read a few more and they're okay).  I think you can read out of order because she does a lot of back telling in all of them.

Even though they are predictable I have enjoyed every one of them. I think they are very funny. They are completely different from Kenyon's Dark Hunter books though.

I like them, I think the newer ones are much better then the first. Plus now they are being published in order.

most of them are fun, they're definitely lighter than the Dark-Hunters.  i don't think it matters if they're read out of order.  the earlier ones may have a bit more detail on the whole how being a vampire works in this universe.

one comment - i'd suggest not reading the family tree often in the front of the book until after finishing the book.  this is particularly true for Vampire, Interrupted (#9), which i just read a couple of days ago.

I just recently discovered these and have read 3 of them, out of order.  I really liked them!  They are funny in spots and a pretty good read.  I'm not normally a Vampire reader though...but I liked these.

I've read the first 4 and I really enjoyed them all. They are funny and light and a good addition to vampire romance reading. I love intense but I also enjoy light. :D

They are definitely Vamp-Lite, and I've liked them all.  They are a keeper series for me.
