I hadn't seen any thread about this - if I missed it, my bad!

IMDb link

Plot: It is the year 1215 and the rebel barons of England have forced their despised King John to put his royal seal to the Magna Carta, a noble, seminal document that upheld the rights of free-men. Yet within months of pledging himself to the great charter, the King reneged on his word and assembled a mercenary army on the south coast of England with the intention of bringing the barons and the country back under his tyrannical rule. Barring his way stood the mighty Rochester castle, a place that would become the symbol of the rebel's momentous struggle for justice and freedom.

I'm sure it'll be rife with errors - movies like this usually are. And Paul Giamatti as King John. (Okaaaay....) But it could be fun.

Plus it looks like resident imaginary boyfriend hunk William Marshall is in it.

I really can't see Giamatti working as King John.  The guy cast as Marshall would fit better.

Agreed. I love James Purefoy, though I've only seen him in a few things (and "Rome" isn't one of them).

Karla, in Rome you get full frontal Purefoy, ah it is a fine site to see I tell ya!

Plus it looks like resident imaginary boyfriend hunk William Marshall is in it.    Bwhahahaha!

Rome is on the TBWatched list. It's got Kevin McKidd too. Yummmm.....  Both of them are also in a Brit comedy called Bedrooms and Hallways. Very funny, with Hugo Weaving as a randy gay real estate agent. Love that movie.
