The book provides excellent insight into Maasai culture. I'm perpetually entertained by some of the more nuanced traditions that are detailed in the book. If I were to make one criticism, it would be that the book is written for a younger audience than I think it is necessarily intended for. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a first look into Maasai traditions and culture.
