I picked this one up when I had to wait for an appointment, thinking, 'A romantic swashbuckler... Oh well, it's something to read while I wait.'
But it was surprisingly good. The author attempts to follow historical fact a good deal more closely than most bodice-rippers, and it was a fun read.

From back cover: He came out of Cuba's bloody sugar-cane fields, a young Welshman who had been kidnapped from his home and forced into barbaric slavery in the New Wrold. Then on a black night, Henry Morgan made his escape, and soon was commanding a former prison bark manned by criminals, misfits, and adventurers--men who owed Mad Morgan their freedom, their loyalty, and their lives. Driven by his hatred of the Spanish crown and all who bowed before it, Morgan rampaged and plundered across the bounding Spanish Main, earning the name 'el Tigre de Caribe', Tiger of the Caribbean.

A fun rump, not all that historically accurate, but with a adventurious, romantic story.
