One of the best biographies about Madonna. Includes some surprising insight into her life through the Nineties, when she started to be more private about her personal life.

Unadulterated pap. The woman is a skanky wanna-be singer with one thing going for her: her guts. But honies, guts ain't everything. You have to have talent. Yes, she had a pretty interesting life, if a bit icky, but Morton writes like someone from the "Enquirer" instead of a real journalist. Pass on this one, kids.

Andrew Morton reveals Madonna in an entirely new light! At age 43, with a career that spans two decades and travels from scandulous to transcendent, Madonna is a bigger phenomenon than ever! Andrew Morton, who wrote the number one bestsellers about Princess Di and Monika Lewinsky has provided insider access to this unauthorized biography. Includes interviews with Madonna's "inner circle" of acquaintances, friends, even, lovers. Learn about Madonna's real life, her real family background, and the violent attack that changed her views about sex and men, her relationship with Michael Jackson, Prince, John F. Kennedy, Jr., and Vanilla Ice, and other rock and Hollywood stars, as well as the mystery man that she wanted to marry. Remarkable compelling and completely interesting (understatement)!
