This is a very educational book. All of the text, which includes a brief introductory essay, captions to the many photos from Mae West's movies and life, and many snappy quotations, is provided in English, German and, French. So if you'd like to teach yourself to say "Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" or "So many men...So little time," here's your chance. Most of the earlier photos are in black-and-white, but color reproductions of movie posters, publicity releases, and photos from later dates are also included. The only flaw I could see is that the authors refer to her figure as 'matronly' - perhaps this is an error in translation?
