It seems like it's been taking forever for things to get where theyre supposed to the past few weeks. I realize the holidays are coming up but Christmas is 2 months away!

I'd say that Media Mail has been unusually fast for me lately.

It's been the same for me. My only grip is that my mail carriers keep changing and whenever that happens mail gets misdelivered. I hope they don't lost my financial aid check again, darnit.

Ordered my last book on 10/17 - it arrived today 10/22.   It only went from PA to MD but still that's pretty fast.

I've noticed more delays with first class mail. I mailed a couple of first class packages that still haven't been delivered after over a week. In the meantime, two of my media mail packages that were mailed later (and were going about the same distance) have already been delivered.

I always ship by first class if I can (and if it's about the same price as media mail), but what's the point, if it takes just as long or longer than shipping by media mail?

I'm having more problems with priority. I have two packages I am tracking, one was mailed from AZ to NY on 10/15 and still isn't here as of 10/25. The other was mailed on 10/8 and still has not arrived. Absolutely ridiculous time frames for priority rate.

It seems the books I've mailed to people are taking forever. Some are approaching 3 weeks! Plus books to me are slower. I was hoping to get a stach  in before the holidays. Duh!

The slow down on the media mail delivery is most likely due to the political mail thats been filling our mail boxes lately...........3 more days till election day.   Get out and vote...

I have to say that the two packages that I have received this week (both media mail) have came very quickly.  One was mailed the middle of last week and I got it on Monday and the other way mailed on 10/31 and I received it on 11/4 and according to PBS it wouldn't have been late until 11/27 so I think that it came remarkably FAST

Most of my mailings and deliveries have been pretty quick. I live in New York and sent 3 books out on the same day. One to NM, one to Brooklyn, and one to the Bronx.  Three days for Brooklyn, six for NM, and I am still waiting on the one to go to the Bronx. I mailed them on 10-27.

I sent a priority package from NY to TN on 11/3 and on 11/5 it was still in NY! Two days to go 60 miles! I just don't know what's up with priority rate these days. It's really getting frustrating especially when it's something I've sold on Ebay and the buyer is getting upset about something that is out of my control.

I sent out 6 packages on Monday & they were just scanned in Lansing (which is only an hour away from me).

I've had packages arrive via ups ground in just three days...books well, that's another story.  In just a week, I've had three go lost.  One did arrive the next day, but I've never had this much trouble.

I'm extremely upset.  My books coming in have been fast, but all of my books going out have been reported lost.  Our mail service is notoriously slow, but I don't know what to think at this point.  I know media mail can take a long time but I can't believe ALL of my books have just evaporated!

What happens if none of my books are found?

Not only has the mail been slow for me , I have had 2 books so far "lost in the mail".. It looks like there is another one that  I probably won't get... What's up with that ????

Patty I am having the exact same problem. Of 12 books I mailed on 11/19, 7 of them haven't been received yet and will go lost now in just a few days. One of them came back to me, the postage sticker had fallen off, but there's no way that could be the case for ALL the rest of them...

If you have too many books going lost in either direction, they might temporarily suspend your account while you figure out what the problem is. But I don't know what the site's definition of "too many books" is...
