I've just posted some hardback books, including some of the Taste of Home annuals, and was wondering how people mailed these since all I've ever mailed before were paperbacks. Does anyone have any inexpensive suggestions as to how to package these?

I often cushion the corners of my HCs with paper towel or anything I have gotten in other mailings that will help protect the corners. Then I will wrap in multiple layers of brown mailing wrap (I picked up on sale at 4 rolls for $1). I have also recycled other boxes I have around the house. Many members recycle food boxes like cereal or frozen meals because the are light weight. Just make sure that the book is secure in the wrap. Heavier HC that are able to move around in their wrapping will often pound their way right out of the package.

Thanks. I'm going to try wrapping them in recycled grocery bags, well-cushioned.
