I have long been a fan of Queen Elizabeth II since living in the UK in the 1960's. The author takes the time to show Her Majesty warts and all, but is never patronizing. It gives an insight on how the Royal Family interacts with each other as well as show how the Royal Household functions under the same person for more than 50 years. Changes do come slowly due to older members interference, but the Queen is very knowledgeable and knows the Monarchy must change with the times. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and have read it several times since I have received it. If you are an Anglophile and like the Royal Family, this book is for you.
