This is a pick it up and put it down book that should be read like a book of jokes. Too much at once and the edge comes off. There are some good laughs in here and some good lines and practical homilies. A sort of contemporary Flip Wilson, if you will. Need a good laugh now and then?

I bought this book to read on the plane ride over to my best friend, who is a huge fan of Tyler Perry's work and a big Madea fan. I had to stop myself from laughing out loud so many times that I'm sure my seatmate thought I had a bad cough. While it's not for the faint-hearted, Madea fans will certainly love the biting wit that only Madea can give.

This book wasn't nearly as good as I thought it was going to be. His movies and plays are great but this book left alot to be desired.

The book was alright, I got a little bored with it but some parts were funny.

I personally feel that Perry should leave the book writing to E.J. Dickey and Zane. Absolutely love his plays, but I couldn't make myself read the book.

I tried to get into this but I couldn't do it. I didn't find it all that funny.

Oh, my, Tyler Perry has gone and done it again...made me giggle, that is! I read parts out loud to my husband, and we laughed out loud over them! I especially liked the analogy for young girls of "putting out" to "throwing the Frisbee" for the dog to go fetch...sooner or later, men that are used to girls that will have sex with them get tired of them...and stop being so interested. The picture that Tyler (ehem, Madea) paints is so vivid, I don't think I will ever forget it! Makes me smile just thinking of that poor, tired, disinterested dog! :)

If you enjoy Tyler Perry's plays and movies, you will definitely enjoy this book. It is a real behind-the-scenes look at Madea.

All said, I liked it, but not as much as I thought I would from others' recommendations. It's a good book for young people, especially young women. I didn't necessarily appreciate the humor in recommending "glaucoma medicine", but there is other very good advice in the book.
