Many people will benefit by learning, understanding, and applying the knowledge they might gain here. Whether you are currently receiving psychotherapy or not, the book can be a great asset. However, if anyone becomes too anxious or depressed when reading, I advise that you stop and get competent professional help. At the end of some chapters, I list a summary of the important points in the form of three-by-five cards; these can be cut out of the book or photocopied, and carried as daily reminders to assimilate and apply what you have learned. Note too, that the more you work at improving yourself, the happier you will be. So, I encourage you to look at these cards often.« less
