Here is the tracking info for a book I recently ordered:
Mailed From: PA
I just received the book today (2-23-13). The postage from the Post Office is dated Feb. 20th. Clearly, the sender did not mail it on January 24th as she indicated. I can see delaying sending by a couple of days, but sending it 27 days late makes me angry. Thanks goodness I didn't order it from another member after it went 'lost in the mail' on Feb. 19th. I will mark the book recieved and fill in all the necessary information indicating it was mailed late, but I wish members like this would be reprimanded in some way. Thanks for listening to my rant! |

Vanessa--There is now an option to mark a book "Received with a Problem"--late mailing (or some such). That's the option you should use when logging in the receipt. That way, there is a record of the late mailing, and if the sender does this frequently, her account will be flagged. |

What Laura said, it's now an option to RWAP for late mailing...use it! At the very least, PBS rules say the sending member should have contacted you in the case of unforeseen circumstances resulting in a late mailing. And yes, they are lucky you had not reordered the book or they wouldn't be receiving a credit at all. |
