I was just wondering if there was a limit on the kind of deals one can make with a requestor. I know there are two-for-one or more deals and also giving an unpostable to one who has ordered a posted book from you. Are we allowed to make deals for mutliple unpostables? I have the first four books in a series that are all Im fairly certain unpostable (nearly all have slightly torn front covers and one has some crusty stain on the back cover). If I make a post in the appropriate forum, would I be allowed to make a deal of these four unpostable books for one credit?

It seems fair to me but I thought Id check to make certain that this is allowed. Thanks all!

You aren't allowed to ask for any credits for the unpostables.  Maybe you could do something like order 1 or 2 books from your shelf and you'll send the unpostables for free?

Also as long as the tears on the front covers are less than 1 inch the books are postable. The one with the crusty stain is definitely not though.

To ask for a credit, at least one of the books must be in postable condition.  You can send as many other books as you'd like, but one's gotta be postable.

A crusty stain? stain sounds permanent and unpostable, but crusty sounds like it might be able to be removed? I have removed "stuff" attached to book covers by:

gently scraping with a butter knife, and gently wiping with a baby wipe (or similiar damp cloth). This only works if the cover in intact and without bends or worn areas or rips or tears that might let the water soak in.

Edited to add: this process in not necessary on the books I post. Those are clean. This has, unfortunately, been necessary on some of the books I receive.

So if at least one is postable, I can make a deal for all four? I need to examine them further but Im fairly certain the tears are small enough to be postable. Thanks for the help guys! And thanks for the cleaning tips, Sara.
