What age for this book?

It's time for those suggested reading lists for the summer to start heading home from schools. If you get one of these lists, please take a moment to tag them with the recommended reading level.

Examples:

  • 4th Grade Reading List
  • High School Reading List
  • Jr. High Reading List

Also, if you have young children's books, mark them with recommended ages: Infant, Toddler, 0-3 Years, Preschool, Pre-K, Kindergarten, etc.

Let's get some more info on these children's books! :)

I love this one! Since PBS removes this info when you edit a book, if it is already there, it's a good thing to add it back using the tags. This also essentially allows you to put the book in the children's sub-genre that it fits, plus still indicate the level and help others pull them up to see them.

Another winner idea, Jane!!!

I don't get a list, since my daughter is only a toddler, but BY GOLLY I will Google and find one so that I can tag some more books! So many tags, so little time... Edited to add: I found the Fairfax County, VA reading lists and marked the 5th and 6th grade reading lists. (Plus I love books aimed at that age group, so I had fun looking through them!)

I recently found this tagging idea, but I have a problem tagging books with a certain grade or age... are we tagging "Interest Level" or "Reading Level"?
