Hunter O'Malley arrives to the reading of his fathers will only to find out that in order to inherit he has to work in O'Malley's bar for six month. If he refuses he will not inherit and neither will Marly. Hunter is not too happy about this. He is an up and coming race car driver and he does not want to put his life on hold this long.
Marly has worked at O'Malley's for 5 years and considers this her home. She had a rough childhood and never had a real home.From the beginning she gives Hunter a hard time to fight off her attraction to him. She knows that his future plans are too different from hers.
