Totally enjoyable book - I have come to really like the two main characters, Chinese P.I. Lydia Chin, and her partner, Bill.

Here again, I learned of this series by S.J. Rozan from PBS. The book has a great story and insight into the various Chinese communities in New York City and how they interact with the various groups within it and the Community at large. The author goes into depth of subject when she writes about the history of the Chinese population in NYC. As one group learned the ways of America, they maintained many traditions and were replaced by newcomers with different languages. The thread of the story wends it's way through all of this background material and gives the book great depth of interest to the reader.
