I just saw this one -

The Blackest Bird: A Novel of Murder in Nineteenth-Century New York :: Joel Rose
ISBN-13: 9780393330618 - ISBN-10: 0393330613
Copies Available: 1

I thought someone who is still looking for the "Murder" challenge book might be interested in trying this one.

I just posted an older PB version of The Queen's Cross by Lawrence Schoonover: http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/188408-The+Queens+Cross  It's about Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain.

My copy is worn, but still readable with no loose or torn pages.

LOL, I saw that book too, Valli, but decided against it.  There was another one too (prob. linked on Amazon) but I decided Poe was just too darned depressing.  I didn't even think about it being a candidate for this challenge.

I have Harriet and Isabella by Patricia O'Brien available.  I'll hold it until Wed if anyone from here would like me to post it to their WL. Taken - thanks!

Michelle, Did you read Harriet & Isabella? Mom has our copy but we have neither one read it yet.

Scratch this question! I just saw your post on the "March mini-challenge" thread ... Doh!
