Military reality in detail, in as real a world as you can have in a work of fiction. Second in a trilogy; at a minimum a trilogy. I usually roll my eyes in frustration when I discover the book I just finished is the first in a multi-volumn set. Some make me hope there's more to come. The story of Prince Roger is one of those.
