An interesting account of the experiences of a young Army Air Corps officer during World War II who was captured by the Germans after his bomber was shot down.

What detracts from the story is some of of the text is repeated more than once, and some of the dialogue was obviously made up.

Plus there was a big jump between when he first entered the POW camps and months later when the POWs were forced to march away from approaching Allied (Russian) forces.

Still, considering it was privately published, it is a good story.
