Imagine that Marilyn Monroe moves in when you're an insecure teenage actress--and commands the attention you wish your parents would give you. In this candid memoir, Susan Strasberg tells how Marilyn came to study with her father, Actors Studio guru Lee Strasberg...and how the Strasbergs became her surrogate parents.

From the young acress who was her confidante, here is an unprecedented glimpse into the private life of a legend-and the "sister" who adored and envied her. (back cover)

Very interesting read about Mariyln's half-sister and her relationship - gets into personal details of Marilyns life from her sisters point of view.

I quite enjoyed this story of Susan and her experience growing up with Marilyn Monroe around. I like reading about Marilyn and this was from a different perspective!
