I received a request for a book on my shelf, and when I pulled it out, the whole bottom of the book is water damaged.  I have *no* idea when or how this happened -- probably spilled coffee ages  ago since it hasn't been off the shelf in ten years.

Anyway, I'd like to offer it as a freebie to the person who requested it, if they want it.  If I simply mark "I cannot mail" will I be able to send a PM?

If you mark I cannot mail, it will be in your transaction archive with a red X on it. You can PM from there. If you send the info from the cannot mail window, that person will not be able to know who you are to place an order from you so you would have to PM them separately. Keep in mind that if there are any other copies in the system their order will be moved on to the next one, so they could end up with two copies if they didn't cancel the next order.

If you deny it from RCs, there will be no record of it.
