I have never complained about a book I received from someone here at PBS and I am tempted to but I am one of those people who feel really bad about doing anything like that. What would you do? I received the book and found that the first 158 pages have water damage (not from postal service, wrapping was not damaged at all) and the pages are coming off the spine of the first 100 or so due to the water damage. Basically, I know I could never repost this book after I have read but at the same time I know that these are used books. Thanks for any input. |

For the integrity of the site, I would mark it RWAP. We must stay on top of the bad books being posted. |

Even if you do not feel compelled to do so for yourself, you need to mark it RWAP as said above for the integrity of the site and out of respect/care for your fellow PBS members that adhere to the rules. Keep in mind that just because you mark it RWAP you are not obligated to request a refund of your credit but, by not marking it RWAP you are endorcing this person breaking the rules. |

you have to mark it received with a problem, however you do NOT have to ask for your credit back. i've done the same thing...mark it with a problem, and then let it go if you feel bad. true, these are used books, but still, there are rules. and it doesn't sound like that is something that the poster could have missed. |

I concur with the above posters. You need to let that person know there are repercussions for sending damaged books. |
