Not as good as The Corporate Wife which I must have read 12 times already. Still Leigh Michaels writes well. Her characters have depth and intelligence. While one review I read critized Michaels because her heroes can't just come out and ask for a date, they have to trick the girl into it. I disagree, the hero does try to ask the heroine out, but she's not interested and the desperate guy has to do something to get her to look at him as more than the boss/competitor/friend/whatever. It's a story I would read again in more of her books.

from the back cover:

Kim Burnham loves running her own business, and finding a husband is far from the top of her agenda. But her friends are convinced they've found the perfect way to meet eligible men -- too busy with their careers to play the dating game, they decide to throw a party and each invite two gorgeous, unattached males.

Tanner Calhoun is surprised to be on the guest list, but not as stunned as Kim when she comes face-to-face with her biggest business rival -- who happens to be far to arrogantly sexy for her peace of mind. Olny, Tanner seems convinced he can solve all Kim's "problems," professional and personal, with one proposition!
