I only could give this 4 stars. I really liked it, yes, and MJP is a great writer. Abby and Jack are well-developed characters and do not deny the attraction between themselves. Jack fights against his magical abilities but comes to accept them with Abby's help. The only complaint I have is that the ending is rather rushed. Things become unbelievable there at the end when Jack returns to his home and begins the fight with the evil wizard that has married his mother and begun to drain the land of its health. If things hadn't been so rushed perhaps it would have been more "believable." Other than that, it was a stay up late book.
