Fast page-turner, although the final confrontation left me scratching my head a bit, wondering about motive...
I've loved all of James Patterson's books, and this is no exception. Filled with murder and misdirection, this easy read captures your attention and keeps it.
This book flows effortlessly and with mounting suspense to its final shocking twist.
Alex Cross is asked to investigate the murder of an actress in Los Angeles, and an email sent to the Los Angeles Times that has details about the murder, signed by Mary Smith. More killings and more emails follow. Alex Cross and the LAPD must find a pattern to these murders before Mary Smith sends another chilling update.
