I hope my fellow Massachusetts members are okay - 2 tornadoes touched down very close by me. Very scary day yesterday. I hope everyone is safe.

Have an unexpected day off from this - I work for a state-wide non-profit so there could be damage at any of our regional offices; we have a history of flooding in our particular office, very heavy rains yesterday, who knows what went on.

I was wondering about you Gail.  I'm fine.  It came close but missed us.  It took the roof of the house right next door to my boss' house. But his house was untouched.

I now live in Eastern Mass but I grew up in West Springfield (about a mile from the Memorial Bridge - which is the bridge in the video they show of the tornado). I can't believe the damage and loss of life. I still have friends there and fortunately, everyone is OK, though some have lost power. Unbelievable.
