This is my first book by Lisa Jackson and I believed it is the third book of the McCaffertys series. Outside of Slade and Jamie rekindling their love, there was also the mystery of who was trying to kill their little sister. That actually will get resolved in the next book.

I had a hard time figuring out why Jamie would want him other than for his bedding abilities. It was still a decent read up until the end. It ruined it for me. I just couldn't get on board with what motivated the characters to act that way. It was kind of disappointing and it made me dislike Slade even more.
Regardless it has peaked my interest enough to search out the other books. I don't think I would spend a credit or real money though.

STILL, THERE WAS SOMETHING ABOUT JAMIE THAT MADE SLADE ACHE FOR MORE. A HELL OF A LOT MORE...
