Written by Vincent Lardo after the death of Lawrence Sanders, this book has the same characters as Sanders had, but his style of writing is different. I haven't decided if I like it or not. Maybe because I loved Sanders' way with words, his style and flair. However, Archy McNally still has his Discreet Inquiries and still finds himself involved with yet another tempting young thing as he tries to find the truth behind yet another murder in the affluent community of Palm Beach. If you like Arch, you'll want to read this book.

Another excellent tale for anyone devoted to Palm Beach, bon vivant, and super sleuth Arch McNally. Lots of sex, violence, beautiful people, this plot has more twists and turns than the back 9 at the Breakers course....
After finding husband number two in a precarious position with an attractive young lady, Melva Williams pulls the trigger--and readily admits to the crime passionnel. To shield her gorgeous dauthter from the press and paparazzi, she turns to her longtime friend Archy McNally.
