Occasionally,I found this book confusing, contradictory, and a little heavyhanded with right-wing religious sentiment. The basic message is affirmation...that you must have dignity for yourself so that weed out individuals who do not honor you with appropriate behavior.

This is my personal Bible. I love this book, and everything she writes. She changed my life, and helped me grow up. I go back and read this from time to time when I start to fall off my path. Anyone whos stuck in the meantime, who cant seem to get on the right track, whos in a relationship they dont want- its a great book!

Not religious yet tends that way. Could have been written in a clearer fashion. I like the topics that it covers.There are some real pearls in here. I give this a Cplus to a B if grading it for style. An A for content.
